Waitlist privacy notice

What we collect

When you ask for a beta invitation, we store only:

The comments box is free text, so what it holds is your choice. Please do not put bank details, card numbers, or anything else sensitive in it; we do not need any of that to run the beta.

The waitlist record does not contain your IP address, bank details, card details, receipts, or financial information. Vercel may process ordinary request metadata, such as an IP address, while delivering and protecting the site, but PocketPilot does not add that metadata to the waitlist table.

Why we use it

We use your name to address the invitation and any beta email to you personally rather than to an anonymous address. We use your email address to manage the invitation queue, send a beta invitation, and send occasional beta-status updates from beta@mypocketpilot.io. We use the optional household answer in aggregate to decide which product needs to prioritise, and we read the optional comments to decide what to build. Your name and comments are read by a person; they are not used to build a profile of you, and they are not passed to an advertising or analytics service. We do not use the waitlist for advertising or sell the information.

Our lawful basis for these uses is your consent. Joining the waitlist does not also consent to a research panel, product analytics, or unrelated marketing. If we later invite you to research, we will ask separately.

Who processes it

Supabase hosts the waitlist database. Vercel delivers the site and API and provides platform security. They act as infrastructure providers processing information for PocketPilot under their contractual terms. We will update this notice before adding an email-delivery provider or using the information for a new purpose.

How long we keep it

We delete a waitlist record when you withdraw consent. Otherwise, we delete it no later than 18 months after you joined, or within 30 days after the beta invitation programme closes, whichever happens first. We do not extend that period merely because you submit the same address again.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw consent or ask us to delete your waitlist record at any time by emailing hello@mypocketpilot.io. You can also ask for access to your information, correction, restriction, or a portable copy, and you can object where the law provides that right. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier use of your information unlawful.

If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and tracking

This marketing site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics trackers. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for consent where required.
