Envelope budgeting
Assign your income to envelopes before you spend it. Regular costs, one-off plans, and sinking funds for the annual bills that otherwise arrive as a shock.

Features
This is the whole list, including the parts that are not built yet. Those are marked. We would rather tell you what is missing than let you find out after you have moved your budget across.
Planning
Assign your income to envelopes before you spend it. Regular costs, one-off plans, and sinking funds for the annual bills that otherwise arrive as a shock.
A bill only lands on your calendar once you have said it is real. Detected patterns are suggestions, never silent commitments, so the calendar stays trustworthy.
Budget from payday to payday: weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, or monthly on a date that is not the 1st.
Records
Bring in transactions from any UK bank that exports CSV. Every row is fingerprinted, so re-importing an overlapping statement never duplicates a payment.
See exactly what an import will change before it changes anything: new rows, duplicates skipped, and rows that could not be parsed.
Photograph a receipt where you are standing. Images are prepared for reading (straightened, cropped, sharpened) before anything is extracted.
Merchant, date, card, total and each individual line. The line items are the point: they are what a bank feed can never tell you.
Anything the extractor is not confident about is flagged and editable. No value is ever quietly replaced with a plausible guess.
Receipts pair with card payments on amount, date, card and merchant, and the reasons are shown. Deterministic, reviewable, and correctable.
Understanding
The same product across different shops, grouped together, with what you actually paid and when. Built from your shopping, not a licensed catalogue.
Where the money went by category, merchant and cycle, and where you have receipts, what it bought inside each of those totals.
Your data leaves in a standard format whenever you want it. There is no lock-in, and asking for it is not a support conversation.
Not built yet
These are planned or gated. None of them work today, and we will not put them in a feature list as though they do.
Planned, and it depends on an approved UK Open Banking provider. Until that is in place, transactions come in by CSV import. This is also the reason PocketPilot can never move your money: it has no payment capability at all.
Planned as part of the paid tier. The free tier is one adult seat. We are not describing shared households as available until they are.
PocketPilot compares what you paid, from your own receipts. It does not claim shelf prices, stock levels, or current advertised rates from any retailer.
Not planned, ever. PocketPilot shows you your own numbers. It is not lending, credit, investment or tax advice, and it will not recommend a financial product.
Early access
That is what a beta is for. Invitations go out in small groups, UK households first.
